The Challenge
XIOS was an innovative multilevel marketing e-commerce startup designed specifically to engage and empower a young entrepreneurial audience. The primary challenge was to develop a comprehensive app that not only showcased a diverse range of products but also streamlined the enrollment process for new members in real-time.
This app needed to facilitate direct sales and transactions, allowing users to easily browse and purchase products. Additionally, it was essential for the platform to incorporate effective customer management tools that would help entrepreneurs build and maintain their client relationships.
Furthermore, the app was required to include robust customer support features to address inquiries and issues quickly, ensuring a seamless experience for both sellers and buyers within the multilevel marketing ecosystem. By addressing these challenges, XIOS aimed to create a dynamic and user-friendly platform that would enhance the entrepreneurial journey for its users.

Role

As the UI/UX Designer and Front-End Developer for XIOS Energy Drink, I led the project from initial design through post-launch enhancements to deliver a user-friendly application for a young, entrepreneurial audience. I crafted intuitive information architectures, developed detailed wireframes, and produced engaging visual designs with interactive prototypes using Adobe XD and the Bootstrap framework. Additionally, I managed a development team based in Queretaro, Mexico.
My Process
My design process started with a thorough understanding of the project goals, allowing me to create effective wireframes and mockups. I conducted internal user research to pinpoint the target audience, which guided the development of comprehensive user personas and a well-structured information architecture. This foundation served as the blueprint for my wireframes and high-fidelity designs.
I confidently translated these insights into a modern, visually striking interface that expertly balanced aesthetics and functionality. By building interactive prototypes for early testing and refinement, I ensured the designs were robust and user-focused. This iterative process, coupled with proactive collaboration with the development team, guaranteed that the final product not only resonated with the target audience but also provided a seamless and intuitive user experience.
